What You Don't Know About Research
“What’s a clinical trial?” “How is it different from
seeing my doctor regularly?” “Am I going
to be a guinea pig or will I get the help I need?”
It’s difficult enough to get the right answer when it
comes to our health. Doubt and concern is common for those who have been newly
diagnosed with a mental disorder, or who have been dealing with one for many
years. Those who find themselves in this situation feel rightly entitled to
answers and treatment. Medical Research Group of Central Florida wants to
inform you, the community, about what medical research really is, and what it
means to those suffering from mental illnesses.
We would like to formally invite you and all to our first
open house seminar titled “What is Medical Research?” This event will be hosted
by Board Certified Psychiatrist, Dr. Adly Thebaud, who will teach us about the
importance of medical research and how it can be an available treatment option.
We will have a Q&A segment at the end, with an opportunity to see if you
qualify for any of our current studies. Drinks and refreshments will be
